The Carlisle-based Denim Coffee will open a location in downtown Chambersburg in April.

Customers have already gotten a taste of what Denim Coffee has to offer. The company, owned by Matt Ramsay, took over ownership of C&C Coffee, 15 N. Main St., last May and transitioned the shop to use Denim Coffee beans and offer the Denim Coffee cafe experience.

The sign in front of the shop will change on April 18 to Denim Coffee. The community is invited to enjoy free coffee, espresso and hot tea beverages from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at noon.

Denim Coffee will also offer buy one, get one free coffee, espresso and tea on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. Customers may also enter a raffle for a $100 Denim Coffee gift card.

Denim Coffee opened its flagship shop in downtown Carlisle about two years ago. Ramsay has more than 10 years in the specialty coffee roasting business supplying other cafes and businesses with fresh roast coffee offerings. He previously ran Mosaic Coffee Company, which developed into the current Denim Coffee.

“This will be a great opportunity for the community to stop out and experience what Denim Coffee is all about, quality coffee beverages, superior customer service and a little added pleasure to your day.” said Matt. “We are grateful for the opportunity to build upon the foundation that Trevor and Tyler Roberts created with C & C Coffee and continue great service to the Chambersburg community.”
