SAN ANGELO — San Angelo police officers are investigating after a 26-year-old man died Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Officers found Kristian Rose conscious but unresponsive. Along with San Angelo Fire Department medics, they tried to save him, but he succumbed to his injuries.

Rose was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard. His body was sent to South Plains Forensic Pathology Center in Lubbock for an autopsy.

This is a death investigation, said Tracy Piatt-Fox, San Angelo Police Department public information officer.

This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
