Ryan Jefferson was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting Saturday that sent two people to the hospital.

Chambersburg Police responded early Saturday morning to reports of shots fired in the 300 block of South Main Street.

Two people were struck when multiple shots were fired during an altercation that took place during a party, police said.

Police tried to locate Jefferson as part of the investigation, but had no success. Jefferson was charged Saturday with possession of firearm prohibited, terroristic threats and simple assault, and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force was asked to find him.

An investigation led the task force Monday to a home in the 2100 block of Moore Street in Harrisburg. After Jefferson was seen at the residence, he was arrested without incident by members of the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team with help from the Harrisburg Bureau of Police and the fugitive task force.

The 25-year-old McConnellsburg resident was detained by Harrisburg Police until he could be returned to Franklin County.

The unidentified victims were taken to Chambersburg Hospital and then flown to other medical facilities.
