Police investigating shooting in York that injured two, victims transported to hospital

UPDATE: Two juveniles are being treated for gun shot wounds following a shooting Sunday evening in York.

Police said the victims are being treated at York Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Previously reported: One person has been transported to the hospital following a shooting Sunday evening in York, according to York County 911.

York City Police were dispatched to the 400 block of North Pershing Avenue around 4 p.m., according to 911. Dispatchers received calls of shots fired near Cottage Hill Road, and of a victim found shot in the back on North Pershing Avenue.

It is unclear at this time if these incidents were related, according to dispatchers. 

Police have cleared the area and one victim has been transported to the hospital.
