NCAA Tournament 2019: Michigan State vs. Minnesota basketball live updates, score

A lot has been made of the fact Michigan State and Minnesota are meeting in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

This is the first time ever -- it is believed, including the pre-64-team field in 1985 -- that two teams from the Big Ten Conference are meeting this early in the tourney. It's definitely going to be a weird sight to see, but it also might be one that favors the Spartans, especially since they routed the Golden Gophers in their only matchup in the regular season.

But now, there's way more on the line: a berth in the Sweet Sixteen. Are the Gophers up for it? Can the Spartans put their struggles in the first round vs. Bradley in the rearview mirror and take care of business in Des Moines?
