Friday, March 15

Day Shift

Stolen Mini Bike: Makayala Jones of Tractor Supply reported sometime between 9:30 p.m. on March 14 and 3 p.m. on March 15, unknown person/s removed a Coleman 196 cc Mini Bike valued at approximately $600. Investigation continues. 

An 11-year-old girl and a 13-year-old-girl of Alamogordo were referred to JPPO for public affray subsequent to an investigation that began on March 8th by SRO’s. They were released to respective parents pending notification from JPPO. 

Courtney Ross, 24, of Tularosa, was arrested for a Municipal Court Warrant for Failure to Appear or Pay after officers made contact with her at Municipal Court. She was released directly to the Court for Immediate Appearance. 

Johnny Lucero, 51, of the 80\0 block of 3rd St was arrested for a Municipal Court Warrant for Failure to Appear after officers made contact with him in OCDC.  Lucero remained incarcerated and is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned.

Jacob Gardea, 27, of the 800 block of Wright Ave was arrested for a Magistrate Court Warrant for Failure to Pay Fines after officers made contact with him at the Adult Probation Office. Gardea was incarcerated in OCDC and it to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Ted Williams Jr., 36, of Canal St was arrested for a Magistrate Court Warrant for Failure to Pay Fines after he turned himself into Officers at Alamogordo Police Department. Williams was released on an Unsecured Bond and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Clancy Simon, 22, of the 1000 block of Cauthen was arrested for two Municipal Court Warrants for Failure to Appear or Pay subsequent to a report of a domestic disturbance at the above address. Simon was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned. 

Brooke Bathun, 29, of the 600 block of 14th St. was arrested for a District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear. Bathun was incarcerated in OCDC and is to appear in District Court when summoned. 

Night Shift

Lenard Turner, 71, of Yucca Circle, pursuant to a harassment investigation from March 6, was issued a non-traffic citation for malicious use of a telephone. Turner continued to call an ex-girlfriend numerous times after being told not to. Turner is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled. 

Destiny Guilez, 25, claims to be homeless, pursuant to a trespassing complaint at the Wal-Mart, 233 S. New York Ave., was issued a non-traffic citation for trespassing. Guilez was found on the property in which she had been previously trespassed on September 26, 2018. Guilez is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled.

Criminal Damage: Cherelle Geter, of 251 Panorama Bvld., Motel 6, reported sometime between 6 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., unknown person(s) keyed the driver side door to her two tone blue 2007 Saturn passenger car while parked at the aforementioned address. Investigation continues.

Saturday, March 16

Day Shift

Adaam Vazquez, 22, of Santa Fe, pursuant to a suspicious activity call at 222 S White Sands, McDonalds was arrested on a Magistrate Court Warrant for Contributing to The Delinquency of A Minor and Shoplifting. He was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Crash with injuries: At approximately 12:35 p.m. APD, AFD and AMR were dispatched to the 2900 block N White Sands for an accident with injuries. It was found through investigation that a 2013 brown in color Toyota car was traveling south bound on N White Sands when a black in color Dodge Pickup exited the private drive of 2900 N White Sands (Tractor supply) and crashed into the Toyota, causing the Toyota to go into the median and strike a light pole. A 92-year-old female was transported to GCRMC and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Dodge pickup was cited for emerging from private drive, alley-way.

A 16-year-old-girl was referred to JPPO for Possession of Controlled substance (Marijuana) subsequent to a runaway investigation that occurred on March 15. When located by Officers she was found to be in possession of Marijuana. She was released to respective guardians pending notification from JPPO.

Embezzled Vehicle: Raimundo Gomez of 880 Lindberg reported on March 2 he loaned his silver in color 2013 Ford Edge car bearing New Mexico Plate to a male subject who he only knew as Roy. It was found the vehicle had still not been returned and has been entered NCIC as a stolen vehicle. 

Night Shift

Monica J. Ben, 31, of the 800 block of Miami Ave., pursuant to a public contact on the 800 Block of Miami, was issued non traffic citations for possession of Marijuana less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ben is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled. 

Lauretta L. Avery, 27, of the 800 block of Miami Ave., pursuant to a public contact on the 800 Block of Miami and consent to search her vehicle, was issued non traffic citations for possession of Marijuana less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Avery is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled. 

At approximately 7:19 p.m., officers responded to a residence located on the 2800 block of Lawrence in reference to a physical domestic that had already occurred. Once on scene, officers located evidence of forced entry into the home and then located a 19-year-old female with visible signs of injury. A suspect has been identified and warrant has been issued.

Alan R. Allison, 33, of the 1200 block of Lovers Lane, pursuant to a domestic disturbance at the Magnuson Hotel, 1021 S. White Sands Bvld., was arrested on a Grant County Magistrate Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Allison was incarcerated at OCDC pending bond and is to appear in the respective Court as scheduled.

Unattended Death: At approximately 4:58 a.m., officers, AMR and AFD, responded to a residence located on the 2500 Block of Oregon Ave., in reference to a female subject unconscious and not breathing. Once on scene, officers located a 73-year-old female with no signs of life. OMI arrived on scene and Detective Division was notified. Preliminary investigation revealed the deceased passed away due to medical/natural causes. 

Sunday, March 17

Day Shift

Glenn A Davis, 54, claims to be homeless, pursuant to a trespassing case at 1376 E 9th Street (City Hall) was arrested for trespassing. He had been previously told to leave the property at a specific date/time, but he refused to leave and was still on the property. He was incarcerated into OCDC and is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned. 

Bobby G Woodard, 39, of the 1100 block of Hawaii, pursuant to a battery investigation was issued a Non-Traffic Citation for Battery. It was found through investigation that he had pushed another male during a verbal argument. He is to appear in Municipal Court when summoned.

Christopher C. Vick, 32, claims to be homeless, pursuant to an agency assist at 3500 N White Sands Blvd, (Texaco) was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting or evading a Police Officer, and Battery on a Peace Officer. While being evaluated by medical personal he began using profane language which disturbed citizens. While being searched he began to pull away from Officers, then kicked an Officer in the shoulder. He was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Motor Vehicle Theft: Delfina Lucero of 1205 Iowa reported sometime in the last three weeks unknown person(s) stole her red in color 2001 Pontiac Grand Am while it was parked in her front driveway. The vehicle was later located by OCSO abandoned in the County. Investigation continues 

Mario Lechuga, 34 of the 600 block of Virginia, pursuant to a public contact was arrested on a Magistrate Court Warrant for failure to pay fines. He was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when summoned.

Thomas LeBlanc, 61, claims to be homeless, pursuant to a public contact at 955 N White Sands Blvd, (Walgreens) was arrested on a Magistrate Court Warrant for FTP and a Municipal Court Warrant for multiple FTA’s. He was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in respective courts when summoned.

Night Shift

Kevin Smith, 50, of the 300 block of Maryland Ave., pursuant to a domestic disturbance at the aforementioned residence, was issued two Magistrate Court non traffic citations for battery against a household member and criminal damage to property of a household member. Mr. Smith is to appear in Magistrate Court as scheduled.

Shoplifting: At approximately 2:59 a.m., officers responded to the Allsup’s, 2201 N. White Sands Blvd., in reference to a shoplifting complaint that just occurred. Once at the scene, it was learned a young male subject entered the store and stole a 12 pack of Corona beer valued at $15.99 and fled the scene. The male suspect is described to be 15 to 16 years of age wearing a blue, red and gray hooded sweat shirt. Investigation continues.
