Actor, filmmaker and comedian Tyler Perry has offered to pay for the funeral of a Wisconsin woman who was killed in Alpharetta, Ga.

According to news reports, Tynesha Evans, 45, was a mother of four and was killed on March 16 outside a bank.

According to Atlanta's WSB-TV, Perry heard about the family's story and offered to fly Evans' body back to her home state of Wisconsin, where family and friends will hold her funeral.

Perry also offered to pay rent where Evans' had lived with her daughters. He also plans to cover tuition for one daughter who is a freshman at Spelman College in Atlanta.

One of Evans' daughters, 14-year-old Shakemia Turner, called Perry “an angel on Earth.”

The suspect, Evans' boyfriend Othniel Inniss, was arrested at the scene.

A GoFundMe page for Evans' daughters has raised nearly $55,000, exceeding the page's $50,000 goal in one day.

"My mom was the breadwinner of our home, please see it in your heart to keep us in our home and put my mother to rest decently," the page read.

Evans was an author and a full-time health care worker. It was unclear how long she had been in Georgia.
