According to a 10K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 15, by Resorts World Catskills’ parent Empire Resorts, Inc., the casino resort posted a net loss of $138,696,000 in 2018.

MONTICELLO—The highly anticipated $1.2-billion Resorts World Catskills Casino Resort has had a difficult time since its opening in February 2018—losing approximately $138 million last year.

According to a 10K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 15, by Resorts World Catskills’ parent Empire Resorts, Inc., the casino resort posted a net loss of $138,696,000 in 2018, a 199.3% ($92,352,000) increase in losses over the $46,344,000 net loss posted in 2017.
