Bayer adds ag presence at SXSW festival

The South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas is including more conversations about agriculture.

Janice Person, the online engagement director with Bayer, says she’s been going for the past five years and each year there are more ag conversations, “Some of the perspectives represented here may not be consistent with those of us in daily production agriculture roles but a lot of people here are well meaning and they just don’t even know that their opinions haven’t had an additional lens to them.”

South by Southwest began as an art and music festival that has expanded over the years to include topics such as agriculture.Bayer worked with Land O’ Lakes on the Copernicus project which was part of the festival.
