China trade deal won’t be hasty

Trade talks between the U.S. and China are continuing to make progress with the President’s latest comments saying it won’t be rushed.

“I think the deal is going to be made, I think there’s a very good chance a deal is going to be made, and I will say officially we’re doing very well in the deal.”

President Trump told reporters Wednesday China wants to make a deal and negotiating a 50/50 agreement is good for both countries.

“President Xi saw that I’m somebody that believes in walking when a deal’s not done and, you know, there’s always a chance that it could happen, and he probably wouldn’t want that.”

He said intellectual property has to be included as part of the deal.
