Waynesboro Police were dispatched to the back parking lot of Pappy's Pub on Sunday, Feb. 17 for a report of a vehicle theft in which a woman said her passenger side window was smashed in and someone took her purse containing her wallet with several credit cards and Apple wireless earbuds, among other items.

While investigating the incident, Franklin County Emergency Services notified authorities that two men were acting suspicious around an ATM on West Main Street, and then got into a mini van with Pennsylvania registration plates. Police said they were also told the owner of the car, Wade Mohn, was wanted through the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Officers found the vehicle in a Wal-Mart parking lot, where they made contact with Mohn and noticed the purse in the passenger seat floor as he got out. Before he was taken into custody, Mohn told them the suspect, identified as Yeager, was inside the store using the credit cards, documents state.

Police said they eventually saw Yeager in the electronics section trying to purchase a television with the cards. In addition to finding the woman's cards, they also found a receipt for another purchase for $269.20, which used her American Express after her bankcard was declined.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 26 in Franklin County Central Court.
