CME milk futures mostly higher, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were mostly higher and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

February Class Three milk was down $.05 at $13.95.  March was up $.18 at $14.90. April was up $.13 to $14.80.  May was up $.09 to $15.08. The milk futures from June through next January ranged from one cent lower to ten cents higher.

Dry whey was down $.0050 at  $.3475 cents per pound. Fifteen sales were recorded from $.3475 to $.3525.

Forty-pound blocks were unchanged at $1.5950 per pound.  No sales were recorded.

Barrels were unchanged at $1.4050 per pound.  Ten sales were recorded from $1.4025 to $1.4050.

Grade AA Butter was up $.01 to $2.26 per pound.  Four sales were recorded from $2.2575 to $2.27.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $.9975 per pound.  No sales were recorded.
