Courteney Cox said when things got dicey on Jennifer Aniston's private jet on the way to her 50th birthday celebration in Mexico, she texted her daughter, "I love you."

As parents, when we are faced with scary things – results of major medical tests, close calls in traffic and airplane turbulence – who do we think of?

Our kids.

Actress Courteney Cox, 54, recently faced a potentially life-threatening event, and she thought of her 14-year-old daughter Coco.

The "Friends" actress shared what went happened while she was flying with best friend Jennifer Aniston last week. A jet they were on from L.A. to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for Aniston’s 50th birthday party was forced to make an emergency landing after they heard a bang.

"I’m not afraid of flying at all... my dad was a pilot… but I was really scared, because when we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, 'Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tire,'" Cox told Extra

Cox added that in that scary moment she decided to text her daughter, Coco Arquette.

"I sent a little text to Coco, ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say why."

We have an idea: You shared what most needed to be said, mama!

The plane was forced to stay in the air for four hours before being allowed to land, she said.
