LSU held off top-ranked Oklahoma State to win the team title at The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., on Wednesday.

It’s the Tigers’ second tournament win this season, in addition to the David Toms Intercollegiate in Baton Rouge, La., in October.

LSU, ranked 17th by Golfweek, was led by Philip Barbaree, whose final round was highlighted by consecutive eagles on the par-5 eighth and the par-4 ninth holes.

LSU finished 14-under, five shots ahead of Oklahoma State (-9). They were the only teams to finish under par. Pepperdine (+5), UCLA (+14) and Oregon (+17) rounded out the top five.

LSU had three golfers finish in the top eight.

Oklahoma State’s Viktor Hovland won the individual title, finishing 8-under, one shot ahead of Stanford’s Brandon Wu, who led going into Wednesday’s final round. OSU’s Austin Eckroat (-5) and Barbaree (-5) tied for third. Pepperdine’s Joshua McCarthy was fifth (-4).
