Bossier woman accused in stabbing death of husband

A Bossier City woman has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her husband.

According to a release from the Bossier City Police Department, officers responded to the 5400 block of Foxglove Drive in south Bossier City at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, where they found an unresponsive male with a puncture wound to his chest.

Robert Walker, 71, of 5423 Foxglove Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bossier City Fire Department.

Walker’s wife, Betty Walker, 75, is accused of stabbing him in the chest, the release from BCPD said. She was charged with second-degree murder and booked into the Bossier City jail.

Bail was set at $250,000.
