Miranda Lambert says she's found her happily ever after.

The country singer shocked fans with news of her marriage Saturday evening with a post on social media.

"In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news," Lambert wrote. "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for .... me. ❤️

The news was confirmed by Lambert's publicist.

The wedding photo of Lambert's groom appears to match that of Brendan Mcloughlin, a police officer in New York City. A  biography page with his photo on the networking site Model Mayhem indicates he's a former male model from Staten Island, N.Y., and is now 28. "My style is all american boy/ abercrombie/ sporty," he wrote in 2011.

A recent NYPD tweet, from March 12, 2018, congratulates Mcloughlin for apprehending a suspect during a bank robbery.

Lambert, 35, known for hit songs including "The House That Built Me" and "Mama's Broken Heart," was most recently linked to Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker. The relationship soured over the summer of 2018.

"Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it,” she told The Tennessean. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

Miranda Lambert shared news of her marriage to Brendan Mcloughlin on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Ironically, the singer's most recent radio single is about divorce. Her trio Pistol Annies, which also includes Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, released "Got My Name Changed Back" near the end of 2018. The song is from their highly anticipated album "Interstate Gospel" that is available now.

Lyrics include: It takes a judge to get married, takes a judge to get divorced / Well the last couple years, spent a lotta time in court / Got my name changed back (yeah yeah).

Lambert and fellow country singer Blake Shelton were divorced in 2015 after four years of marriage.

If Lambert's love life is fuel for her songwriting as she said, the singer's next album should be an award-winner.
