Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in locating Antonio Gonzales, 36, of the 1000 block of Lackland Avenue.

Gonzales was on trial for criminal sexual penetration of a minor and criminal sexual contact of a minor.

Officials said Gonzales failed to appear at his ongoing trial Feb. 13.

The trial proceeded in his absence and was subsequently found guilty of criminal sexual penetration of a minor and four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor.

Gonzales is described as a 5-foot-tall Hispanic male, weighing 110 pounds. He has short black hair and a goatee.

He was last seen at his residence on Lackland Avenue.

Gonzales posted a $150,000 cash or surety bond ahead of his trial.

Courts are no longer to hold defendants without bond if they are considered a flight risk.

Gonzales is considered dangerous and residents are advised not to approach him.

If he is seen, call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 434-7812.
