More details have emerged regarding the body of a man found on Interstate 81 near mile marker 75 Monday night.

An autopsy confirmed that 46-year-old Tyrone Shaw died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick, as reported by Fox 43.

While Pennsylvania State Police suggested before that a road rage incident happened on Interstate 81, it was not connected to Shaw and his car.

According to a news release, a trooper encountered Shaw's black GMC Yukon in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, around 11:13 p.m. Its lights and hazard lights were on, and the driver's side had a flat tire.

Shaw was found dead on the ground on the passenger's side between the car and the guardrails. It's estimated that Shaw and his car were on  the shoulder of the interstate between 6:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Monday night, according to a release.

Police are looking for any commercial vehicle recording devices that may have captured footage of the location of the scene.

The exact GPS coordinates are latitude 40.343439 and longitude -76.7438832.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Pennsylvania State Police in Harrisburg at 717-671-7500.
