New Mexico State University to host 14th annual 'Career Connections' fair

LAS CRUCES - With more than 100 employers registered, New Mexico State University invites students, alumni and community members to the 14th annual Career Connections Fair, taking place Feb. 5-6.

NMSU Career Services will host the two-day event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the third floor of the Corbett Center Student Union.

The event brings employers in contact with prospects in "all areas of hiring, with strong interest in interns for summer 2019 and fall 2019," per a statement from the university. Dressing appropriately for a job interview is recommended.

On Feb. 5, there will be a focus on majors in the Colleges of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education (non-teaching) and Health and Social Services.

The College of Engineering co-sponsors the event for Feb. 6, which will highlight majors in computer science, engineering, life/physical sciences, mathematics and technology.
