Call for Ohio Master Farmers
Nominations for the Ohio Master Farmer Awards are due this Friday.
Randell Reeder with the Ohio Conservation Tillage and Technology Conference tells Brownfield winners are honored for what they do on and off the farm.
“I think serving as a role model for other farmers and being willing to share their knowledge and wisdom, also being active in the community—I think these are all good properties and characteristics of a master farmer.”
Two farmers will be honored as the best of the best in the industry at the conference in March. The Ohio Master Farmer awards are awarded by Brownfield Ag News and the Ohio Farmer Magazine.
