Florida Tech dining takes culinary journey to China with all-you-can-eat buffet Jan. 31

Red Braised Pork Belly -- pork belly braised with ginger, garlic, chile peppers, soy and rice wine -- is one of the dishes on the menu at this month's International Dinner at Florida Tech's Panther Dining Hall.

The next in Florida Institute of Technology's monthly international dinner is set for Jan. 31. Prepare your taste buds for a trip to China.

Florida Tech's dining services department invites the public to join with students in celebrating the cultural diversity of the university by sharing a meal. Dining services chefs work with university students to create the menu and recipes.

The dinner, featuring dishes from China, will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 31, at Panther Dining Hall, which is open to the public. Cost for the all-you-care-to-eat buffet is $16 per person.

As at previous dinners, the evening will feature educational materials and entertainment inspired by China.

Panther Dining Hall, 3113 Panther Place, is just south of the Clemente Center on the Florida Tech campus in Melbourne. Visitor parking is free on the first floor of the parking garage behind the dining hall.
