Russell Westbrook on if he's 'cool' with Joel Embiid after latest clash: '(Expletive) no'

In case you haven't noticed by now, Russell Westbrook and Joel Embiid don't like each other.

Need more proof? Just ask Westbrook.

In the final minutes of Saturday's game between Westbrook's Oklahoma City Thunder and Embiid's Philadelphia 76ers, the 2016-17 league MVP was fouled by Embiid on a fast break. Embiid and Westbrook both went tumbling to the ground, and after about 15 seconds of rolling around, Westbrook jolted up and attempted to charge Embiid before his teammates intervened.

When asked about the incident after the game, a 117-115 Thunder victory, Westbrook made it clear he thought Embiid's foul — which appeared to be an accident — was dirty.

"I don't think he just landed on me," Westbrook said. "He had a little extra to it. But it's OK."

Asked if he and Embiid are cool?

"(Expletive) no," he said.

Embiid's take on the whole thing?

"I don't know why he was mad," he said. "I have no idea ... but he's always in his feelings."

The Westbrook-Embiid feud has become one of the league's more entertaining ones. They face off next on Feb. 28, when the Thunder host the 76ers.
