Bustos to serve on both House Appropriations and Agriculture Committees

Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos has been appointed to serve a fourth term on the House Agriculture committee.

She has also been appointed to the House Appropriations committee, which would have made her ineligible to serve on the agriculture committee, but Speaker Pelosi granted Bustos a waiver to serve on both.

Bustos says fighting for agricultural producers has always been a top priority and she’s excited to continue making sure Illinois farmers have a seat at the table in Washington.
