Parson says broadband access issues unacceptable

Missouri Governor Mike Parson laid out his priorities for the state in his first state of the state address Wednesday and they include expanding broadband in rural areas, “We currently have about 10 school districts and many rural communities that lack access to highspeed broadband and that is unacceptable!”

Parson says he’s added $5-Million dollars to his state budget proposal for expanded high speed broadband to fill in the gaps in the $255-Million-dollars in federal funds recently secured by Missouri.
