Ethanol production, stocks higher

U.S. ethanol production last week rebounded from a multi-month low.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.051 million barrels a day, up 51,000 on the week and the highest weekly average since late November 2018, even as the industry monitors negative margins while waiting for more details on year-round E15 use and potential export demand from China.

Stocks grew for the third week in a row, up 97,000 barrels at 23.351 million.
