Brewers announce participants for sold-out 'On Deck' fan festival on Sunday, Jan. 27

The Milwaukee Brewers announced Tuesday the participants for their sold-out “Brewers On Deck” fan festival on Sunday, Jan. 27 at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee.

There will be 42 players on hand, including 2018 National League MVP Christian Yelich, Ryan Braun, Lorenzo Cain, Josh Hader, Corey Knebel, Travis Shaw and Jeremy Jeffress. Some of the organization’s top prospects also will participate, including Keston Hiura, Corey Ray, Lucas Erceg and Zack Brown.

Brewers alumni scheduled to attend include Robin Yount, Cecil Cooper, Gorman Thomas and Jim Gantner. Broadcasters and executives slated to participate include principal owner Mark Attanasio, Bob Uecker and Brian Anderson.

Tickets for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., sold out in advance for the first time. The Hunger Task Force will host a food drive for peanut butter, with donations to be dropped off at the main entrance at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.
