Farmer says shutdown hasn’t impacted him yet, but will if it continues

Central Indiana farmer Mike Shuter says he hasn’t been negatively impacted by the partial government shutdown yet but will be if it continues.

“Corn and soybean loans and then being able to get releases to market those loans when we want to could be an issue if this stretches on,” he says.

He tells Brownfield he was able to apply for the market Facilitation Program before the shutdown.
