Chris Pratt texted ex Anna Faris about his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger

If you were wondering if Anna Faris had any ill feelings about ex-husband Chris Pratt's newly announced engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the answer is a resounding no.

"I'm so happy for you both! Congratulations," the "Mom" star said in the comments of Pratt's Instagram post Monday, which showed the couple hugging and Schwarzenegger wearing a sizable rock on her finger.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star captioned the photo, "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!" he captioned an image of the two embracing. "I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"

On the Tuesday episode of her podcast, "Anna Faris Is Unqualified," the actress said Pratt texted her shortly after he popped the question.

"I'm so happy for them. I knew that it was gonna happen and I love her and I love him and I'm just so happy that they found each other," she said.

"Chris texted me this morning and he was like, 'I proposed to Katherine last night,' " Faris continued. "And I was like, 'Ahh, that's amazing.' I texted him back, like, 'I just wanted to remind you I'm an ordained minister.' "

Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, posted the same photo on her Instagram with the caption: "my sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you." 

Pratt, 39, and Schwarzenegger, 29, had people guessing if they were an item when they picnicked last June, on Father's Day. While there weren't moments of PDA snapped, their meetup appeared to go well as the two exchanged smiles and shared laughs. They shared a church date in August and visited a winery with Pratt's brother the following month. 

Pratt gushed over his love on her birthday in December.

"Your smile lights up the room," he wrote, in addition to sharing a collage of sweet moments. "I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care."

Pratt previously wed Faris in 2009. They announced their split in August 2017 and share one child, Jack, 6.
