Fire damages residential home in Dover Township

A structure fire caused significant damage to a Dover Township home on Saturday, according to the Dover Township Police Department. 

The fire was in the 5000 block of Bull Road near Cherry Orchard Road and Kunkle Mill Road and was reported just after 12 p.m, according to York County 911. More than 20 units worked on the fire.

The fire was caused by a wood stove and damage was estimated to be around $40,000 to the home and $10,000 to the contents, according to the Dover Township Police Department

No one was injured. 

It was not a second-alarm fire at this time, according to York County 911. 

According to the Southern PA Incident Network, smoke was first seen coming from the roof of a trailer.
