Karaoke Friday and live bands Saturday through February at Billy's Sport Bar

Live entertainment returns to Billy’s Sports Bar and Grill this weekend with Karaoke on Friday nights and live bands playing every Saturday night in January and February.

This Saturday, the HomeGrown Boyz will perform beginning at 8 p.m. inside the sports bar. The NFL divisional playoff round also will be shown on large television screens, including the Dallas Cowboys game versus the Los Angeles Rams, airing at 6 p.m., Saturday.

“Billy’s is a fun place for live music and sports entertainment,” Ruidoso Downs’ president and general manager Jeff True said. “We invite everyone to come and enjoy music, good food and sports at Billy’s every weekend.”

Friday night Karaoke is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with a green chile cheeseburger special ($6.95). Each Saturday night, Billy’s Sports Bar and Grill features a rib-eye or prime rib steak dinner ($14.95) that includes baked potato and Texas toast.

“The Saturday night steak special is one of our most popular promotions,” True said. “Our steaks are always hand-cut and cooked to order.”

The live bands scheduled to play at Billy’s Sports Bar and Grill on Saturday nights in January and February are Jan.12, HomeGrown Boyz;  Jan. 19,  Graham Brothers;  Jan. 26, HomeGrown Boyz; Feb. 2, Cactus Sol;  Feb. 9, HomeGrown Boyz; Feb. 16, Graham Brothers; and Feb. 23, HomeGrown Boyz.                   

In January, Billy the Kid Casino offers daily promotions, including an opportunity to win a new living room furniture set from Santa Fe Furniture and Gifts To win the living room, players must earn drawing tickets with slot machine play and be present to win a drawing on Thursday evening, Jan. 31.
