Update to original story: The Brewers announced Jan. 8 that the event has sold out. Tickets will not be available at the door.

You probably didn't need another indication that Brewers' fan interest is reaching lofty heights, but here's another anyway: the annual "Brewers On Deck" event has sold out of tickets for the first time ever. Tickets will not be available in advance or at the door.

Scheduled for Sunday, January 27, numerous members of the organization will be on hand to meet and interact with fans from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. The annual fan festival has never had to turn fans away ... until now.

“The scarcity of tickets for Brewers On Deck reflects the extraordinary interest we are experiencing in all of our sales, from Season Seat plans to retail apparel,” said Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger in a release.

“With the success of the 2018 team, advance sales for Brewers On Deck are truly unprecedented as we have never sold out prior to the event date."

A portion of ticket proceeds support the Brewers Community Foundation.

The event will include autographs, Q&A sessions and game shows with players, coaches and broadcasters. The Brewers Community Foundation will also host a treasure hunt and live auction.

Announcements of team personnel expected to participate will come later this month.
