Waynesboro man threatened woman with bleach to force her into sex, police say

WAYNESBORO - A Waynesboro man is accused of giving a woman a black eye, then threatening to douse her with bleach and forcing her into sexual activity. 

Napolian Britt Jr., 32, is charged with felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and a misdemeanor count each of simple assault, terroristic threats, conspiracy to commit terroristic threats and false imprisonment, according to court records. 

He has been in Franklin County Jail since Saturday, Dec. 22, unable to post $100,000 bail, court records show. 

Waynesboro police made contact with the woman shortly after around 3:15 p.m. that day, according to court documents filed at Magisterial District Judge Jody Eyer's office in Mercersburg. 

She said a few days earlier, between 3 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 18, she and Britt had been arguing, and it escalated as they each brought up each other's past drug use. 

While on the phone with his mother in connection with that argument, Britt threw a basketball shoe which hit the woman in her right eye, she told police. The woman said she begged Britt to take her to the hospital to be treated for the black eye she now had, but he refused and told her to get her things and leave. 

As the woman was attempting to leave the home, Britt retrieved a bottle of bleach and threatened to pour the chemical on her if she did not come back inside, according to court documents.

The woman told police she complied because she feared what the bleach would do to her skin. 

Once back in the house, the woman made a bed on the floor and tried to fall asleep. However, Britt, who was on a nearby couch, told her she had to perform oral sex on him or else he would pour bleach on her, according to court documents. 

The woman told police that even though "she was still crying she had no choice but to give (Britt) oral sex after several times trying to refuse," according to court documents. 

Court documents did not say where in the Borough of Waynesboro the alleged incidents occurred. 

Britt's preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 3 in Franklin County Central Court.
