Shots fired on Christmas on Main Street in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG – Police are investigating the discharge of a firearm early Christmas Day near Catherine Street on South Main Street.

Chambersburg Police responded at 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, to the area of 410 S. Main St. for a report of shots fired, police said. A caller reported seeing a group of people loitering in the area prior to hearing the gunshots. Officers found several spent shell casings in the street.
