York County Coroner IDs woman who died after losing control of pickup, hitting tree

Update: The woman who died in the crash has been identified as Rachel Shahan, 46, of the Stewartstown area, according to a news release.

Reported earlier:

One woman died in a single-car crash involving her pickup truck Tuesday night in North Hopewell Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office. 

The woman was "unrestrained" when she lost control of her pickup truck, hit a tree and died at the scene, the report states. 

The coroner was dispatched to Dunkard Valley Road and Swamp Road at 11:04 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, according to the release. 

More information will be released once the next of kin is notified.
