Gov.-elect Tony Evers and Lt. Gov.-elect Mandela Barnes will bring their statewide tour to Milwaukee on Wednesday.

Evers and Barnes are going around Wisconsin to hear from the public on budget priorities as they prepare to take office in January. The open-to-the-public tour stops began in Green Bay and will conclude with the Milwaukee visit.

The "Building the People's Budget" tour will be in Superior and La Crosse on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. On Wednesday, Evers and Barnes are scheduled to be at the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County Volunteer Center, 200 W. Pleasant St., from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
