Man robbed, battered at Oxnard mobile home park

A man parking his car at a mobile home park in south Oxnard was robbed and battered by a trio of teenagers, authorities said Saturday.

The robbery was reported around 6:48 p.m. Friday at the Pleasant Valley Mobile Home Park at 250 E. Pleasant Valley Road, just east of Saviers Road, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

The victim had pulled into a parking space when he was approached by three males who appeared to be in their early teens, officials said.

One of the teens demanded the victim’s wallet, according to police. Another reportedly had a knife and threatened him.

The victim was battered by the teens, who stole his belongings, authorities said. The suspects reportedly fled on foot heading east on Pleasant Valley.

Police were still looking for the teens Saturday.
