San Angelo police find missing 26-year-old man, cancel alert

San Angelo police have found a 26-year-old man missing since 7 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14. 

Police put out an alert about 3:30 p.m. asking for the public's help finding Craig Bechtel, who was last seen in the 5800 block of Manchester Lane. 

Officers were concerned for Bechtel's wellbeing because he is intellectually and developmentally disabled, a missing person's alert stated. 

Bechtel was found about 4 p.m. in Grape Creek and police said he is safe.
