FFA convention returning to Indianapolis until at least 2031

The FFA and its iconic blue jackets will keep coming back to Indianapolis until at least 2031, the organization announced Tuesday.

“Our members and guests feel at home in Indiana and they share our enthusiasm for the city that FFA calls home,” National FFA Chief Executive Officer Mark Poeschl said in statement.

The annual National FFA Convention & Expo draws more than 67,000 people from across the U.S. and generates an estimated $39.8 million in economic impact for the city.

The National FFA Organization is a youth organization geared toward building a future generation of leaders within the agriculture industry. The national organization has more than 600,000 members.

“Today’s news confirms that Indiana’s reputation is strong and growing stronger," Gov. Eric Holcomb said in a statement. "I appreciate FFA’s commitment to build on our already-robust agricultural heritage in the coming years.”
