The National FFA Convention will stay in Indianapolis through 2031

The National FFA Convention will stay in Indianapolis through 2031.

National FFA CEO Mark Poeschl says the city has extended its best brand of Hoosier hospitality and the organization is pleased the convention will remain on Indianapolis for the next several years.

The national convention has been in Indianapolis since 2016 and brings more than 67,000 attendees from across the country.

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb says the convention, like the National FFA headquarters, is at home in Indiana. He says Indiana is ready and committed to welcome FFA members with open arms.

The National FFA Convention took place in Kansas City, Missouri, from 1928-1998. Louisville hosted the event from 1999 to 2005 and Indianapolis hosted from 2006-2012. In 2019, the organization decided the event would rotate every three years between Indianapolis and Louisville, with Louisville hosting from 2013-2015, and Indianapolis hosting from 2016-2018. In 2015, it was decided the convention would be in Indianapolis from 2016-2024.
