ASHWAUBENON – Snow tubing began Saturday in the Titletown District.

And it's cheaper this year.

"We brought prices down on everything from last year to make sure that anybody and everybody that wants to come out can come out," said Charlie Millerwise, Packers director of development and hospitality.

The district's skating rink opened Nov. 17.

"Skating has been almost triple the traffic of last year," Millerwise said. "We've been a lot more efficient this year getting the ice up and running and getting the snow as efficient as we could. We are about two weeks ahead of last year on the hill."

Other district winter attractions include an ice lounge, in its first year, and the holiday light show, in its second year.

The Titletown Ice Lounge, in a climate-controlled structure, includes a functioning cocktail bar made of ice as well as ice sculptures.

"It takes 10 to 30 minutes to go through it. There are a lot of great sculptures for Instagram moments," Millerwise said. "Last game day, we put almost 2,000 people through there."

The Winter Jubilee Light Show plays on most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 31. The family-friendly presentation includes holiday-themed lights projected on the west facade of Lambeau Field, music, special effects, animation, lasers and fireworks. The show is seven minutes and will play every half hour from 6-9 p.m. The light show is free.

Holiday events will culminate in Titletown District's inaugural outdoor New Year’s Eve celebration,Titletown NYE ’18. The event will include a ball drop at midnight, an interactive light display, warming tent with DJ and dance floor, live entertainment, skating and tubing until midnight, and fireworks at midnight. Bonfires will be placed throughout the park.

"We want to create that Times Square environment," Millerwise said.
