Anderson winter weather: What to expect today and tomorrow

Thousands of people in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties woke up without power Sunday morning as the area remained under a winter-storm warning.

Pickens County will remain under a winter storm warning until 2 p.m. on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Anderson County is under a winter weather advisory until then. 

The area is likely to see more rain on Sunday night with a chance of rain mixed with snow after 8 p.m. on Monday night.

Rain is likely to continue overnight Sunday and until 10 a.m. on Monday morning.

There is a chance of snow for Anderson after 9 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

When can Anderson County expect warmer temperatures?

Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a high near 46, according to the weather service.
