Chambersburg man found not guilty of indecent exposure to a child

CHAMBERSBURG - A jury this week acquitted a Chambersburg man on all charges related to allegations that he exposed himself to a young girl. 

Ephraim Baer Jr., 56, was found not guilty Tuesday following a two-day trial of felony corruption of minors, felony unlawful contact with a minor, misdemeanor indecent exposure and felony attempted indecent assault of a person under 13, according to court records.

He was free on bond leading up to the trial, after first being denied bail when he was arrested in May 2017. 

An 8-year-old girl who was in his care at his home on Cumberland Avenue ran out of the house and to a neighbor the evening of May 21, 2017, claiming Baer had pulled his pants down and exposed his genitals to her.
