Jersey Mike's could be coming to Pewaukee in new shopping center off Highway 164 and Capitol Drive

A Jersey Mike's Sub shop could soon be in Lake Country under a proposal expected to go before the village of Pewaukee plan commission on Dec. 13. 

The chain submarine sandwich shop is the latest tenant to be confirmed for a new shopping complex on the southwest corner of Highway 164 and Capitol Drive, according the Village Administrator Scott Gosse. 

Meadow Ridge Shops will be built off Meadowcreek Drive next to the Associated Bank. Other confirmed tenants include a Chick-fil-A restaurant, along with a Starbucks that will move from its current location on the south of Meadowcreek Drive to the development on the north side, where the coffee shop will gain a drive-thru.

This could be the first shop of the New Jersey based Jersey Mike's Sub shop in Lake Country. Currently, the nearest locations are in Waukesha and Brookfield, along with others in the Milwaukee area. 

Plans for Meadow Ridge Shops call for four buildings with five tenants to be completed by the end of 2019.
