Minnesota corn harvest at 96%

Minnesota farmers continued to harvest corn and bale stalks last week.

The latest crop report from USDA says the corn for grain harvest is 96 percent complete, five days behind normal.

Just two percent of the sunflower harvest remains, four days slower than a year ago.

Farmers were also busy spreading fertilizer and finishing tillage on suitable ground.
