Where to See Santa in South Florida

When he's not in the North Pole, Santa is often zipping about in South Florida. He's waving to fans & posing for snapshots. Sometimes he's in a vintage fire truck. Sometimes he's on the New River in his water sleigh.

Lots of events are free. Fees apply for some.

Santa is at Symphony In Lights, usually from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. select evenings including

Fort Lauderdale

Xtreme Action Park, indoor arcade and recreation venue, is featuring Santa 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. December 17,  5300 Powerline Road, Fort Lauderdale 33309, 954-491-6265, website. Free entry.

Pompano

Breakfast with Santa for ages 5-12 is 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. December 17, with a fee of $7. Civic center is at 1801 NE Sixth Street, Pompano. Information is online.

Pompano Beach

Free photo ops with Santa at Festival Marketplace, 2900 West Sample Road, Pompano Beach 33073, 954-979-4555, rsvp online

Margate

Winter Festival in Margate 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. December 16 at US 441 and Margate Boulevard. Event includes “Florida style” snow, photo ops with Santa, rides for kids, vendors, local performers.

Wilton Manors

Palm Beach

West Palm Beach

Photo opportunities with Santa at The Square are 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sundays to December 23, with free entry.  December 4 is dog day. The Square is a dining, shopping and residential district, 700 South Rosemary Avenue, West Palm Beach. A display with lights and snowfall is 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. until December 31, fees apply for parking. Rates are free to $12, usually $5 or $6.

 

West Palm Beach

Pancake Breakfast with Santa 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. December 17 at Lake Pavilion, 101 S. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach. Fee is $15 and includes ride on a Ferris wheel. Fees and taxes are extra. Royal Palm Beach

Santa is hanging out 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. December 17 in Royal Palm Beach. He'll be at Royal Palm Beach Commons, 11600 Poinciana Blvd., Royal Palm Beach 33411.  Entry is free. Information is online.

Delray Beach

Photo with Santa, including the photo, is $12 at Holiday Village in downtown Delray.

Santa's House is open

  • November 29 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m
  • Thursdays & Fridays December 1 – 23: 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m., except December 10
  • December 10: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sundays: 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Miami-Dade

Doral

City of Doral Park and Tree Lighting   December 2 from 6-9 p.m., Downtown Doral Park at 8395 NW 53 St. holiday festivities take place including the official tree lighting, entertainment by carolers, face painting, holiday character appearances, family holiday activities and pictures with Santa for $5.

Miami

Story Time and photos with Santa 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. December 17, included with regular entry for Deering Estate, $15 for adults and $7 for ages 4-14, and photo packages are extra.

Light Up Fort Lauderdale Beach 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. November 22 with over 50,000 lights and Olas an inflatable snowman, kids zone with Santa, Bobby Rodriguez Orchestra, inflatables, slides, pony rides. It's at Las Olas Oceanside Park, A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.

Dania

Holiday tree lighting in Dania 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. December 1 includes entertainment, photos with Santa, synthetic ice skating rink, face painting, food for purchase and other fun. It's at Dania City Hall, 100 W. Dania Beach Boulevard, Dania Beach. Festivities are free.

Tamarac

Rudolph's Winter Wonderland is 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. December 9 at Tamarac Park, 7501 University Drive, Tamarac, FL. Festivities feature Santa, rides and entertainment.

Oakland Park

Holiday Village in Oakland with Santa, entertainment, snow slide, ice skating, vendors and other fun.  Holiday Village is 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. December 2 &  11 a.m. to 10 p.m. December 3, 4000 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park 33334.

Fort Lauderdale

Light Up Sistrunk is 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. December 2 on Sistrunk Boulevard, Northwest 9th and Northwest 11th avenues. Event includes live entertainment, free toy giveaways, health fair, food vendors, kids zone with Santa, bounce houses, slides, and other fun. Event includes a teen area.

Boca Raton

Santa enters a Holiday Street Parade on a vintage fire truck. Other parade spectacles include floats, entertainment and Groovy 70s vibe, 7:30 p.m. December 7, from Federal Highway and Southeast 5th Street north to Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL. website.

Recommended free parking is offered at City Hall, 201 W. Palmetto Park Road; Downtown Library. 400 NW 2nd Avenue; Building Administration, 200 NW 2nd Avenue.

Boynton Beach

Breakfast With Santa is 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. December 10 at Intracoastal Park, 2240 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach 33435. Registration is required. Fees are $15 for Boynton residents and $18 for non-residents. Information is online
