Highway Patrol: Hit-and-run reported on 153 in Powdersville near I-85

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a hit and run that led to injuries this morning in Powdersville, according to the state patrol's online wreck tracker.

The wreck happened shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of State 153 and Kalyns Way, a small access road to restaurants and hotels within sight of Interstate 85.

Trooper Joe Hovis said the fleeing vehicle was a dark colored sedan, with possible right front damage and was believed to have headed north on the interstate.
