Restaurant Week

Following the launch of the Sizzle SWFL scholarship, the spring edition of the semi-annual Sizzle SWFL Restaurant Week raised $20,621 to benefit incoming students of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Resort and Hospitality Management program. The two-week event in June involved more than 70 restaurants from Cape Coral down to Marco Island.

The winter edition of Restaurant Week will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 12 with more than 50 participating restaurants in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples and Marco Island. Each of the participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $26 or $36, some with special upgrades. Restaurants may also offer two-course prix fixe lunch menus for $16 or $21.

Of each Restaurant Week meal purchased during the two-week event, $1 will be donated to the Sizzle SWFL FGCU Food & Beverage Scholarship. The scholarship aims to assist local high school graduates seeking education through FGCU’s School of Resort & Hospitality Management. By encouraging students to complete the program, the scholarship will increase the number of qualified staff for restaurants in the area.
