MSU vs. Rutgers: Tickets as low as $2 for last home game of the season

EAST LANSING -- Looking for a cheap form of entertainment this Thanksgiving weekend that will get you out of the house and away from those leftovers? 

You're in luck at Michigan State University.

Several lower level seat tickets for the Spartans' 4 p.m. game Saturday against Rutgers were going Monday evening for as low as $2 on vividseats.com. 

At that time, StubHub.com indicated several lower level $6 tickets along sidelines and endzones were also available.

Michigan State running back Connor Heyward and his teammates will try to get back on the winning track Saturday against Rutgers. Kickoff is 4 p.m.

Michigan State's athletics website offers game tickets from $50 to $100. 

The Spartans are a bowl game-eligible 6-5 this season and have lost two straight games. 

Rutgers, known as the Scarlet Knights, are 0-8 in the Big Ten and 1-10 overall. 

Michigan State ends Saturday what is considered one of its most competitive home schedules in recent years.

  • Sept. 7 - Western Michigan
  • Sept. 14 - Arizona State
  • Sept. 28 - Indiana (homecoming)
  • Oct. 26 - Penn State
  • Nov. 9 - Illinois
