All lanes are now open on southbound I-41/94 in Mt. Pleasant

All lanes of southbound I-41/94 are now open after an accident earlier closed the freeway at state Highway 11.

Traffic was backed up for three miles while the accident was cleared, the state Department of Transportation said.
