TOP WORKPLACES

How much time is left to nominate my employer for Top Workplaces? Almost none!

Journal Sentinel Top Workplaces 10th anniversary

Employers across the state tell us that great employees are getting harder and harder to find. Keeping them is just as challenging.

But if you respond in a hurry, as in right now, we can help — because the deadline for nominating employers for the Journal Sentinel's 10th annual Top Workplaces program is midnight Friday.

By hanging a Top Workplaces plaque in your lobby or putting the widely recognized logo in your window, social media posts or advertising, finding and retaining first-rate workers can get a whole lot easier.

The Journal Sentinel's Top Workplaces program is the largest, longest-running and most prestigious recognition of southeast Wisconsin’s best places to work. Organizations that make it to the final list — which is chosen through surveys of tens of thousands of workers at participating employers across the area — gain a major advantage in building top-flight workforces.

Anyone can nominate an employer, and it's easy to do: Just go to jsonline.com/nominate or call (414) 376-5560. Companies and organizations (public, private, nonprofit or government) that have 50 or more employees in the 10-county area — Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Sheboygan, Jefferson and Dodge — are eligible. There is no cost for having employees take our quick online surveys, which are already underway at scores of area companies.

Winners will be recognized in the spring at a gala breakfast and in special sections of the Journal Sentinel and JSOnline.com.

But there's no time to waste: Friday is the final deadline for nominations.
